Château de Paraza

Minervois AC-Languedoc Roussillon.

Minervois is one of the oldest Mediterranean vineyards. Its soil was indeed chosen by Romans so as to establish the first vines in Languedoc Roussillon. The castle’s vineyard is  located in the soil called “Les Serres”.  The average age of the vineyard is twenty years.

The grape variety planted is particularly adapted to the soil and frequently improved, gives  riches and balanced wines. The alliance of Carignan, traditional variety with the Mourdève and the Grenache brings to these wines their characteristic, while a new variety in Syrah gives to these wines riches aromas.
